Radio Disney and Disney Theatrical Group have announced that Bella Mazziotti has won the 'Make Your Own Musical' Sweepstakes. As the grand prize winner, Bella will be the honorary producer of her very own Disney musical at her school. This is the first time Disney Theatrical Group has ever offered this type of experience.

The New Providence Heights Alpha School will receive a free one-year license to perform any Disney JR. or KIDS title, $2,000 towards production costs, and a free show kit, inclusive of scripts, director's guide, choreography DVD and performance CD. The school will also be given exclusive mentorship from Disney and three visits from a Disney teaching artist over the course of the rehearsal period. In addition, the entire cast will get copies of Disney Theatrical Group President Thomas Schumacher's acclaimed book How Does The Show Go On? An Introduction to the Theater.

Among the many 60-minute and 30-minute Disney musicals designed for young performers (available at DisneyMusicals.com), Bella has chosen to produce ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR. Bella and her school will truly experience the magic of theater when they join Alice's madcap adventures as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game! With an updated score, including new versions of Disney favorites "I'm Late," "The Unbirthday Song" and "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah," ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR. brings a fresh take on the classic story to a new generation of performers and audiences.

"As a very special added bonus, Kenton Duty, who plays Gunther, a unique, theatrical and ambitious dancer from a fictional country, in Disney Channel's hit show "Shake it Up," will visit The Providence Heights Alpha School. He recently took his own love of the theater to Broadway, where he made a cameo appearance in the high-flying Broadway musical MARY POPPINS."

DISNEY THEATRICAL GROUP (DTG) operates under the direction of Thomas Schumacher and is among the world's most successful commercial theatre enterprises.
