"Not all fairy tales have a happy ending," the Queen of Caledonia (?) tells Olivia. Boy, is she right, on many levels. Welcome back, SCANDAL. We sure have missed you!

Sally Langston is still a thing. She's one of those cable news leeches that never seem to shut up. Can you imagine how annoying that would be if it were real? Perish the thought. She is spouting tales of a fairy tale, but as we watch Fitz and Olivia in the throws of passion and happiness, we realize she is actually talking about Princess Emily and Prince Richard from Caledonia who are visiting for a State Dinner. Fitz is wooing Queen Isabelle for a location for his Naval base in her country. Olivia is called to action when Emily is killed in an accident in a tunnel and the Queen hires her to look into it. And look into it she does as she quickly figures out that Emily was not only having an affair with her bodyguard, she was carrying his child. Thinking the Crowned Prince had her killed, she informs the Queen who in turn confesses it was she who had her killed since she wasn't carrying royal blood. Oh your Majesty, did you think that would be the end of it? This is Olivia Pope! She may have signed an NDA to not say anything to the press, but that didn't cover her informing Prince Richard what happened. He informs his dear mother that she will be abdicating the throne and disappearing from his life and he will take over the Crown.

Meanwhile, Olivia and Fitz have decided to keep their relationship secret for now. Especially after seeing what a nightmare Emily and Richard have it as the Royal Couple. Abby keeps looking like a fool as Liz isn't keeping her updated and Liz keeps feeling misinformed when the President does things without telling her. The ladies soon realize that neither one of them is in the loop and all it takes is an all out lovers quarrel in the Oval Office in front of Liz and David for Liz to figure out that it was Olivia who had been undermining them after all. Mellie is sworn in as Senator and even though Fitz shows up for her, he immediately serves her with divorce papers. She, in turn, enlists Cyrus for help, but he wants no part of it as he is still holding out hope that Fitz will ask him back. Olivia finally convinces Fitz that they need to stay private for a while until their relationship is strong enough to go public. Too bad Sally Langston has figured it out and announces their relationship on the Liberty Report.

So their private relationship was short-lived, but how long will their public one last? Is it my imagination or did you get the feeling the embittered Liz and/or Abby tipped off Sally Langston? I know they were mad, but that was extreme. Besides, neither one of them seem to have a friend in the world and I doubt this would endear either one of them to anyone. I'm super glad to see David Rosen getting involved right away as I always beg for more screen time for Joshua Malina. And Huck, man, what is up with Huck? Although, if it got us to Scott Foley, I'm okay with it. He asks Jake for help, but was that to help fix him like he asked Olivia or to kill him like he asked Quinn? Either way, our pal Huck is in some serious trouble.

Fitz seems awfully ready to jump into a public scandal with Olivia. He literally just watched disastrous results of such a public relationship and he was so taken aback that Olivia was the tad bit skeptical? Come on, Fitz, you're smarter than that. Exercise the tiniest bit of caution.

Where do we go from here? Is Quinn still the only employee that Olivia has? With the sudden death of Harrison, Abby's move to the White House and Huck, well, let's call it "on the mend," is Quinn the most reliable person she has? That's frightening. Maybe it's time to get on Craigslist and get some new temps in or bring back Stephen Finch again. And from the look's of next week's preview, Olivia is going to need some help and some friends real fast.
