Four episodes in, and we're finally starting to get to the meat of some of these characters! A lot has happened to our HEROES REBORN friends over the past few episodes: deaths, car crashes, ruined marriages, all that fun stuff. I'm hesitant to mourn any of our newly deceased EVO friends - they have super powers, who knows if they're actually gone for good! - but I am curious to see how their troubles translate for those on both sides of the EVO war (I'm calling it a war now).

There's definitely a solid line drawn between EVOs and humans in the proverbial sand, and I'm itching to see how that plays out. Newly-discovered powers are also on the rise (I'm looking at you, Luke!), which adds even more unpredictability into the equation. Basically I'm saying tonight's episode should be another doozy. I'm ready.

Join me here tonight and on Twitter @CourtHenley at 8:00 PM EST as I live recap tonight's episode of HEROES REBORN! It'll be choc full of EVO drama, as always.

8:00: I forgot how shocked I was last week with that ending. Wow.

8:04: See, nay sayers? Crazed, cosplaying fans are actually helpful for two of our heroes!

Sadly, they can't do much to help Tommy. Poor kid. Just when he was beginning to fit in, he gets a GPS tracker embedded into his wrist.

8:10: "Repopulate?" I second that question, Quentin. I wouldn't want to be a pod person, either.

Wait, this is really sad, Luke going back to the house that he used to share with his entire family! Also, I wouldn't have pegged them for dentists, and yet, they were! Go figure!

Also, it's about time Miko and Ren realized they're literally walking into a trap.

8:15: I get why they're concerned about these EVOs, but if they're not hurting anybody, why hurt them? They're human beings, just like everyone else! But I digress.

What, Tommy's adopted?! One low blow for him after another!

Oh, look. He teleported himself. They really should've seen that coming.

I should mention, Malina is pretty awesome.

8:25: These people are so concerned with EVOs taking over the world, but they're not worried about a company that compares itself to God and harnesses the EVO power for their own use? They need to get their priorities in order!

8:27: I worry about Miko and Ren. They don't seem to be very sharp all the time.

Those EVO spotting glasses are essentially a successful, future version of Google Glass, aren't they?

8:30: Battle of the EVOs! You go, Malina! I'm not quite sure what that hooded girl is all about, but I don't like her.

Why does everybody on this show end up getting shot!?

8:35: Oh, look, Emily! I almost forgot about her for a second! I'm glad she's there, though. Tommy needs a friend as he's going through all of this.

8:37: Someone's attacking the transport van?! But who? It's El Vengador! Honestly, of all the superhero-esque names they could've come up with for this guy, El Vengador is probably not the best one. But at least he serves up justice!

8:40: I was wondering when Noah was going to make his appearance. I'm glad Taylor is more or less working with him, though.

8:44: Quentin is very quickly be coming my favorite character on this show. He's so sassy and hilarious!

"What is on your mind, Noah?" she said to the man holding a loaded gun. Seriously? She should be a bit more nervous.

Oh, look, a second man with a gun!

The Katana girl sword! I do like how they're tying everything together. That's always nice to see, even though it may be predictable.

So...that sword's a teleportation device now...? Stretching it a bit, aren't we?

8:55: Wait, this "penny for your thoughts" guy knows Tommy's sort-of mom? Alright, I'm interested. Go on...

Essentially Tommy has to save the world. No pressure.

I would zap myself away too, Tommy. That's a miserable burden for a teenager. Or anyone, really.

8:57: Is burning down your house really the answer, Luke?

Oh. You threw your wedding ring into the flames. I guess that's a "yes."

8:59: 96% of all species, wiped out in days? I'm not quite sure how your little EVO plan is going to help with that...if everyone's dead, how on Earth are you expecting to start over?

I'm still on the fence with this show. Some bits are completely predictable, and other parts do actually intrigue me. What do you think: are you impressed by the new generation of EVOs, or is the show too tame and predictable for your liking? Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter @CourtHenley!
