LATV, the original national, bi-cultural entertainment network, announces that American Latino TV has been nominated for an Imagen Award in the category of Best National Informational Program.

American Latino TV is a weekly, half-hour entertainment news and magazine show hosted by rising entertainer Valery Ortiz that sets the standard for culturally relevant television for young, U.S. born Latinos in the United States.

"American Latino TV represents some of the best programming offered to Latinos in the general market. It promotes aspiration, leaders in our community and the extra-ordinary stories that make up the Latino experience in this country," said Luca Bentivoglio, COO and Head of Programming for LATV Networks. "We are greatly honored and appreciate the recognition the Imagen Foundation has bestowed us."

The Imagen Foundation will host the 2013 Imagen Awards, August 16, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Ca.
