'Accidentally in Love,' A Hallmark Channel Original Movie, Earns More than 3.1 Million Viewers

3.1 million unduplicated viewers sent Valentine's greetings to Hallmark Channel declaring their love for the World Premiere of the Hallmark Channel Original Movie, "Accidentally in Love," which was the #1 rated movie on cable television, Saturday, February 12. Hallmark Channel ends its two week "Countdown to Valentine's Day" campaign with its Original Movies "Accidentally in Love" and "Smooch" at #1 for their respective days and a third Original Movie, "A Valentine's Date" at #2 for its day. The network continues to be the top destination for original holiday-themed programming.

"Accidentally in Love," the #1 ad-supported cable movie of the day and #2 movie of the week, also ranked #1 in the time period in HH (1.9 rtg), W25-54 (.9 rtg) and P2+ (.9 rtg). It also ranked among the Top 10 in the time period in HH and key demo delivery (#2 in households with 1,617,000). "Accidentally in Love" boosted Hallmark Channel to be the 2nd highest rated cable network in Prime Time for the day among HH (1.7 HH rtg).

"Accidentally in Love" was penned by Peter Facinelli ("Twilight," "Nurse Jackie") to star his real-life love Jennie Garth ("90210"), Ethan Erickson ("Melrose Place"), five-time Golden Globe nominee Marilu Henner ("Taxi"), and four-time Emmy(R) Award nominee Fred Willard ("Modern Family," "Wall-E"), "Accidentally in Love" is the story of Eddie, a man longing for more serious acting roles while making a meager living out of playing TV's favorite fictional rabbit Mulligan. When Eddie crashes his car into Annie, a widowed mother whose daughter is going blind, he discovers there is more to life than fame-seeking and self importance, and he soon finds family man may be his greatest role yet.
