AMERICAN IDOL to Feature Live Camera Feed on Commercial Breaks During Broadcasts

During this season's first LIVE performance shows of American Idol XIII, airing tonight (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), and on Wednesday, Feb. 19 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), FOX will give viewers at home a front-row seat to all the backstage action and behind-the-curtain excitement via a live camera feed during select commercial breaks.

When American Idol XIII cuts to commercial break, the cameras usually stop rolling - but not this week! Cameras instead will Capture an insider's view into American Idol XIII. IDOL fans at home can expect to see behind-the-curtain activities from backstage, the IDOL stage and the judges' table. The live show content will appear on-screen simultaneously alongside commercials airing in a total of four ad breaks over two nights.

Tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 18 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top 15 remaining female contestants have one last chance to impress the judges and America LIVE during the first night of the new, high-stakes three-night IDOL event, "Rush Week." Then,tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 19 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the 15 remaining male contestants take the stage LIVE on the second night of "Rush Week." On the third and final night of "Rush Week," Thursday, Feb. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top 13 Finalists will be revealed in the first results show LIVE from Los Angeles.
