TV Line has confirmed that ALIAS alum Merrin Dungey has secured a guest-starring role on The CW's teen drama 90210. The episode is set to air in February.

Dungey will take on the role of a caring therapist assigned to counsel Liam, who'll be detained at the courthouse following some less than legal activities.

Dungey, best known for playing Sydney Bristow's best friend on ALIAS, has also recently appeared on REVENGE, HUNG, THE KING OF QUEENS, and BETTER OFF TED. She was also slated to play 'Naomi Bennett' on Private Practice before Broadway veteran Audra McDonald was cast.

90210 - which just celebrated its 100th episode in December - is set for a midseason return on Monday, Jan. 21. The drama will move to 9/8c, following the SEX AND THE CITY prequel THE CARRIE DIARIES.
