ABC's THE VIEW Outdelivers 'The Talk' in Total Viewers, Women 25-54

ABC's "The View" averaged 2.964 million Total Viewers, 548,000 Women 25-54 and 418,000 Women 18-49 during the week of April 4, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. For the 4th week in a row, "The View" outperformed CBS' "The Talk" (2.802 million, 534,000 and 390,000, respectively) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+162,000), Women 25-54 (+14,000) and Women 18-49 (+28,000).

"The View" improved week to week (2.838 million and 402,000, respectively, on w/o 3/28/16) in Total Viewers (+4%) and Women 18-49 (+4%), drawing its largest overall audience in 7 weeks (since w/o 2/15/16) and its 3rd most watched week of the season.

"The View" surged on the year-ago week by double digits (2.225 million, 441,000 and 347,000, respectively, on w/o 4/6/15) across the board: Total Viewers (+33%), Women 25-54 (+24%) and Women 18-49 (20%). Further, "The View" posted a larger year-to-year increase in overall viewers than "The Talk," with the CBS program posting losses in both key Women demos (+5%/-8%/-11%, respectively).

On Tuesday with guest Hilary Clinton, "The View" delivered its 2nd most watched telecast of the season (3.336 million on 4/5/16).
