"Once Upon a Time" (8:00-9:00 p.m. - 6.4 million and 1.9/5 in AD18-49):
At 8:00 p.m. against strong NFL-fueled competition on NBC and FOX and CBS' "Survivor" finale, ABC's Winter Finale of "Once Upon a Time" built on its lead-in by 36% in Adults 18-49 (1.9/5 vs. 1.4/4). The ABC drama continued its run as Sunday's most-social series on broadcast with 79,437 tweets, up 75% week to week to its 2nd-best number this season.

With increased playback viewing, "Once Upon a Time" is seeing much bigger percentage gains this season from L+SD to L+7 than the same point last season in Adults 18-49 (+59% vs. +42%). On average, based on first-run telecasts in Nielsen's Live + 7 Day ratings, "Once Upon a Time's" Fall 2013 performance was up 6% in Adults 18-49 over its Spring 2013 delivery (3.5/9 vs. 3.3/9).

"Revenge" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 6.1 million and 1.5/4 in AD18-49):
During the 9 o'clock hour, ABC's "Revenge" built its overall audience for its 3rd-straight telecast (+2%) and held steady with last week's Fast Affiliate rating in Adults 18-49 to draw its biggest overall audience in 6 weeks - since 11/3/13. Holding 95% of its Total Viewer lead-in, "Revenge" matched its best-ever retention out of "Once Upon a Time."

"Betrayal" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 3.7 million and 0.8/2 in AD18-49):
In the 10:00 p.m. hour, ABC's "Betrayal" rose by double digits week to week in Total Viewers (+19%) and in Adults 18-49 (+14%), marking its most-watched telecast in 10 weeks - since 10/6/13.

A note about increasing DVR penetration and year-to-year rating comparisons: Year-to-year rating comparisons based on the Live + Same Day data stream are distorted by the level of DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample, which has jumped up to 48% currently, from 46% at the same point in 2012. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which may not be reflected in the overnight next day numbers. The only truly valid year-to-year comparison would be one based on the Live + 7 Day metric, once those stats are released by Nielsen.
