ABC Picks Up Fourth Season of BACHELOR IN PARADISE

As announced on "Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise" last night, ABC has picked up BACHELOR IN PARADISE for a fourth season. Each episode showcases "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" alumni as they explore new relationships while living together in Mexico, in a secluded and dreamy paradise.

Despite competing against THE 2016 SUMMER OLYMPICS during its run on Monday and Tuesday nights, ABC's "Bachelor in Paradise" grew its average overall audience by 9% year to year (6.2 million vs. 5.7 million) and held even with Adults 18-49 (2.0/8), marking its most watched season yet. The ABC unscripted series was also up from last year by double digits with Men 18-34 (+13%), Men 18-49 (+22%), Men 25-54 (+18%) and Teens 12-17 (+29%). During its 2016 run, ABC's "Bachelor in Paradise" ranked as Monday's No. 1 TV series in Adults 18-34, while also standing as the top-rated show on both Monday and Tuesday with Women 18-34.

Over the course of six weeks, "Bachelor in Paradise" features shocking twists, surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in "Bachelor" history. There's no telling who will find love this season, just like Jade and Tanner did last year with their engagement and subsequent wedding.

Hosted by Chris Harrison, "Bachelor in Paradise" is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television.
