VOCALOSITY, the a cappella supergroup created by Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect, Broadway's In Transit, NBC's The Sing-Off, Lifetime's Pitch Slapped), kicks off its 2016-2017 national tour tonight at the Bucks County Playhouse. VOCALOSITY will play an 11-show engagement at the historic New Hope, PA venue before heading to 38 other cities across the country.

The 10 powerhouse vocalists that comprise the all-star a cappella group are James C. Jones, Hannah Juliano, Kelli Koloszar, Cheeyang Ng, Nattalyee Randall, Tracy L.J. Robertson, Bryant Vance, Nicole Weiss, Amy Whitcomb and RJ Woessner. VOCALOSITY's self-titled debut album from Universal Music Classics is available nationwide via Amazon, iTunes, Barnes and Noble and Spotify.

VOCALOSITY is the live concert event that takes a cappella to a whole new level with sizzling arrangements that set a new standard for 10-part harmony. No genre of music is off limits in the world of a cappella and VOCALOSITY's powerhouse vocalists cover them all including the latest chart-topping hits from Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, and Bruno Mars; modern classics from Prince, Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, and The Beatles; tenth century Gregorian chant, classical choral, barbershop quartet, doo-wop, and everything in between. Combine that with direction and choreography from Seán Curran (Stomp original cast member) and you have an exhilarating evening of song unlike anything ever seen or heard, live on stage.

"Over the past few years, a cappella has grown from what was once considered a stuffy Ivy League activity to a pop culture phenomenon beloved by people of all ages," says Deke Sharon, who serves as artistic director, music director and co-creator of the production. "VOCALOSITY is my dream team, an all-star ensemble of diverse young singers each with a unique style and personality. Most vocal groups aspire to create one sound and style, homogenizing the character of their singers, but this group is the exact opposite, weaving a variety of tapestries from different combinations of voices and characters."

The VOCALOSITY creative team includes Deke Sharon (Music Director, Arranger, Artistic Producer), Seán Curran (Director & Choreographer), RoBert Sternin & Prudence Fraser (Creative Consultants), Hannah Juliano (Associate Music Director), Tony Huerta (Technical Director, Sound Designer, Live Engineer), Ryan J. O'Gara (Lighting Designer), Amy Clark (Costume Designer) and Mike East (Scenic Concept). VOCALOSITY is produced by Work Light Productions, one of the nation's premiere producers of theatrical national tours, and IMG Artists, the industry's global leader in performing arts management.
