Ed Sheeran gave an unsuspecting fan the surprise of her life at a Canadian mall this week. Taking a break from his tour, the hit singer visited the West Edmonton Mall after hearing that 13-year-old Sydney Bourbeau was performing his song "Thinking Out Loud" for a local Humane Society fundraiser.

During the performance, he joined her on stage on stage for an impromptu duet. "I was like, should I stop?" Bourbeau told the Edmonton Journal. "I didn't want to stop, but I wanted to talk to him. This is like, the best thing that's ever happened to me."

The Journal reports that following the performance, Sheeran's manager offered her two tickets to his client's show at Rexall place. Not a bad way to spend the day at the mall!
