In partnership with Vimeo, the world's largest open transactional VOD platform, Twenty Year Media ("TYM") is set to release the upcoming Kurt Cobain documentary, "Soaked In Bleach", through its Emerging Pictures digital network (http://emergingpictures.com). The documentary opens in select markets on June 11th 2015, with screenings at the Village East Theatre in New York, The Crest in Los Angeles, the Varsity in Seattle, and the Hollywood in Pittsburgh. The documentary will be opening wider across North America in other major markets including Miami, Phoenix, Denver and Vancouver.

"Soaked In Bleach" reveals the events surrounding Cobain's death as seen through the eyes of Tom Grant, the private investigator hired by Courtney Love in 1994 to track down her missing husband (Cobain) only days before his body was found at their Seattle home. Narrated by Grant (played by Lost's Daniel Roebuck), the film develops as a narrative mystery with cinematic recreations, interviews with key experts and witnesses, and the examination of official artifacts from the 1994 case.

As part of the release and distribution strategy, TYM is using its social analytics and fan engagement platform, WannaWatch.it (http://wannawatch.it/soaked-in-bleach), to identify geographic demand for the movie and use this demand to program theatres across the Emerging Pictures network.

Through WannaWatch.it, TYM uses demand data from a multi-staged fan engagement strategy to identify where the film will perform best and converts early purchase intent into actual sales. WannaWatch.it's platform engages fans from the moment of interest in a movie to the point of purchase and beyond for future offerings.

The WannaWatch.it ticketing platform not only converts early demand into purchases, but also supports box office reporting through an integrated accounting system with the Emerging Pictures exhibitor tools.

WannaWatch.it's integration with the Emerging Pictures platform creates a closed loop eco-system to optimize the entire value chain of the movie going business, from early marketing efforts to ticket sales to file delivery and box office reporting.
