Music icons Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are scheduled to begin recording a full-length duets album in June, according to a new interview.

Bennett tells Rolling Stone, "We're working on it from now until June, and then we'll record in June. She's phenomenal."

In remarking further upon the controversial pop star and how their collaboration works in the recording studio, Bennett relayed, "I get along great with her. She's looking forward to it and so am I."

Bennett reveals, "It's the best time of my life right now. I'm 86 years old and I really feel like I'm just starting out right now, because I want to prove that I can get better as I get older."

No release date or title has been announced for the currently in-development album project.

Bennett and Gaga previously collaborated on a duet of "The Lady Is A Tramp" for Bennett's bestselling DUETS II album. New footage of that recording session was recently released and it was covered in a BroadwayWorld article here.
