The Toxic Avenger Releases 'Romance & Cigarettes' Single Today

French DJ and producer Simon Delacroix, better known as The Toxic Avenger, produces music that speaks to the darkest depths of the imagination - fusing a chilling mix of pulsing electronic music and crime scene noir. Hot on the heels of his debut full-length album, ANGST, last year, The Toxic Avenger is back with a "vengeance": today, the Parisian artiste announced his highly-anticipated new LP, Romance & Cigarettes, set for release on October 8th. Fans who have been eagerly awaiting new music will also be thrilled to hear that The Toxic Avenger will be releasing a single package of the same name on July 2nd. The Romance & Cigarettes single package contains the original mix alongside an extended LP version and a buzzy remix from acclaimed French producer DEMON.

"Romance & Cigarettes" is a deliciously dark electro collaboration with Anglo-French singer José Reis Fontao - perfect for kicking off long summer evenings. The cut carries all of the elements The Toxic Avenger has become renowned for: high-energy, pulsating beats amidst slick layers of shimmering synths & ever-so-slightly ghostly vocals.
