The Metropolitan Room Presents MetroJam With Special Guest Bill Boggs 2/4

MetroJam, the monthly open mic at The Metropolitan Room hosted by Jenna Esposito, is back with its February edition on Friday, February 4, 2011! The special guest for the night will be 4-time Emmy Award winner, star of stage, television, and screen, author, personality, and motivational speaker BILL BOGGS! Be sure to check out his website (www.billboggs.com) to read about all of his incredible accomplishments (and make sure you're sitting, because there are quite a few!)!

Also featured, of course, will be the fabulous MetroJam Band: John DiPinto on piano, Ritt Henn on bass, and Bobby Sher on drums. In honor of the upcoming Valentine's holiday, the optional theme for the night will be "Stupid Cupid" - all performers are encouraged to bring songs related to what happens when the little cherub strikes with his arrows! Of course, all selections are welcome, whether on theme or not!If you'd like to perform, please be sure to bring 2 copies of your music (uptempos are preferred).
