2015 is already looking to be a big year for STS9. The acclaimed instrumental electronic rock band-who will kick off the new year in Denver with four nights at the Fillmore Auditorium--have announced multiple night runs in Aspen, Chicago and Athens for February and March.

President's Day weekend will find the Santa Cruz, CA-based quintet (formed in Atlanta 15 years ago) in the western Colorado mountains for three nights at the Belly Up in Aspen, CO February 13, 14 and 15. Next, the band will head to Chicago for three nights at the House of Blues March 5, 6 and 7. Lastly, STS9 will bring it back to where it all started and hit the Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA for three nights March 19, 20 and 21. Three-day fan club tickets go on sale today Thursday, December 18 at 12pm noon local time exclusively at www.sts9store.com. Remaining tickets, including single day tickets, will be available to the public on Friday, December 19 at 12pm noon local time. On sale times are local to the city the venue is located in (MST for Aspen, CST for Chicago and EST for Athens).

These multiple city residencies will follow the band's initial run of the year when they take over the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO for four nights starting New Year's Eve Wednesday, December 31 and wrapping Saturday, January 3. Their New Year's Day show on Thursday, January 1 is an already sold-out charity event benefiting Conscious Alliance featuring a deluxe dinner prepared by Chef Ed Kammerer of Denver's Highland Pacific Restaurant in addition to an intimate and unique set of STS9 music. More info on Conscious Alliance can be found here. A limited number of tickets are still available-including a three-day ticket for all shows excluding January 1--at www.livenation.com.

In addition to their own headlining shows, STS9 is also excited to announce they'll be performing at next year's BUKU Music + Art Project in New Orleans, LA (March 14-15) and Summer Camp Music Festivalin Chillicothe, IL (May 22-24). See below for the full list of the band's upcoming tour dates.

STS9--Hunter Brown (guitar/sequences), Jeffree Lerner (percussion), David Phipps (keyboards/synths), Zach Velmer (drums) and Alana Rocklin (bass)-recently wrapped their 25-date "Autumn Tour 2014" to rave reviews. Using the latest cutting-edge sound and lighting, the band is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to delivering one of the most visually stunning shows on the road today featuring the band's largest production rig ever. As Ali Kramen of Sensible Reason noted, "the light show was phenomenal. Credit is surely due to lighting designer Saxton Waller, who orchestrated gorgeously geometric and perfectly timed displays that were stellar to say the least" (10-20-14). Jack Smith from No Country for New Nashvillewrote, "while the music prowess of STS9 was definitely the highlight of the evening, it's definitely worth mentioning the lighting rig the band brought along. The auditorium appeared dazzling while bathed in ample lighting, and it was definitely one of the more advanced lighting rigs we've ever seen toured" (11-3-14). Simply put, Cassidy Maley from GratefulWeb.com called the show "a night of intoxicating music" (10-16-14).

About STS9:
Since forming in Atlanta 15 years ago, STS9 has risen to the forefront of the international music scene. Consistently ranked among Pollstar's list of top-grossing touring acts, the quintet has sold out the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre (recently completing their 11th consecutive year headlining the famed venue), headlined stages at the country's biggest music festivals, sold out shows across the country as an acoustic set-up in opera houses or as an electronic act in amphitheatres and have raised significant amounts of money towards activism efforts (including $150,000 to the Make It Right Foundation, paving the way to rebuild a house in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans). STS9 also runs their own record label, 1320 Records, whose goal is to bring the music to the people in the most conscious, unique, innovative and savvy ways possible to lessen the distance between artists and fans. The band's latest studio EP and eleventh album in their full discography, When The Dust Settles, debuted at #1 on the iTunes Electronic Chart and landed them in Billboard's Top 25 album chart.
