Prince Prepares for New Album as Part of Warner Brothers Deal

Fans of Prince will love his new licensing deal with Warner Brothers Records. Not only will they get a delux reissue of his iconic PURPLE RAIN, but a new album is in the works as well.

"A brand-new studio album is on the way and both Warner Bros. Records and Eye are quite pleased with the results of the negotiations and look forward to a fruitful working relationship," Prince said in a news release.

According to USA TODAY, the deal also allows WB access to all of the Minnesota-natives albums, beginning with 1978's For You. Fans can expect to new music and other projects as part of the deal as well.
