U2 did it in New York City. The Rolling Stones as well. It's Lancaster's turn. Creating a fresh energy and spectacle on First Friday. PRiMA Theatre announces the Rolling Rock Band! This live experience will celebrate PRiMA's May production, 80's Re-Lived! theatrical music experience at the Chameleon Club. Lancaster City Police Officer Jose Delattore will join PRiMA Theatre, escorting the performance amidst the city streets, assuring safety and adding to the theatricality.

The Rolling Rock Band will be a professional group of performers in full 1980's attire, playing live on the back of a flatbed truck. The vehicle will be traveling with theatrical lighting and audio equipment, playing live 80's music on city streets between 6:30 and 8pm this First Friday, May 2. A police escort will trail behind, as the truck stops at various locations and performs smile-inducing songs for all generations. Performers will get off the truck at some sites, interacting with people on the sidewalks. Event is weather dependent.

Expected pull-in stops for the Rolling Rock Band truck are on Prince and Queen streets, and the adjoining block of King Street.

PRiMA Theatre's 80's Re-Lived! runs Sundays, May 18 and 25 (3pm and 7pm performances) at The Chameleon Club at 223 N Water Street, Lancaster City. Tickets can be purchased at primatheatre.com or by phone at 717-327-5124.
