Guns N' Roses tribute band Mr. Brownstone are appearing for a special one-time-only show at Brooklyn Bowl on May 18.

Since winning legions of fans for their over-the-top stage antics, Mr. Brownstone has performed on stages including Bonnaroo and "Late Night with David Letterman." The past year, however, has found the band in the midst of an apparent hiatus/hangover since playing a Bowery Ballroom show that neither the band nor the audience can recollect.

Featuring Sean Greenhalgh as Axl, Tony Calabro as Slash, Drew Thurlow as Duff, Dave Godowsky as Izzy and Eric Reed as Steven, the band's on-stage misadventures include Dave breaking a finger, Drew losing a tooth, and Dave smashing a 1974 Guild guitar that didn't belong to him. They claim to have never played a show without finishing a bottle of Jack Daniels on stage.

A video of their 2008 appearance on "Late Night with David Letterman" can be seen here. Tickets for the Brooklyn Bowl show are available here.
