Acclaimed DJ and producer Eats Everything is the latest artist to lend his support to Last Night a DJ Saved My Life - the charitable foundation working with the dance music industry to make a positive impact globally. Today the West Country artist and charity have launched a new campaign, 'Have a Drink on Us', with the aim of raising £30,000 to fund clean water projects in countries that need it most.

Announced at the Brighton Music Conference, the money raised will be used to fund the construction of bore wells in parts of Africa and India, to provide a clean and sustainable source of safe drinking water in disadvantaged communities.

The key aims will be to connect donors with communities where the need for wells is the greatest, and to clearly demonstrate the life-changing benefits of the investment.

Clean water is something that most of us take for granted, yet a staggering 663 million people do not have access to safe water globally - this equates to around one in nine of the world's population.

Every year, 1.5 million children die from water related diseases, yet just one bore well costing £2,400 will give up to 1,000 people access to clean water for 10 years.

Eats Everything said: "Clean water is a basic human right, but sadly millions of people around the world are denied it. Raising £30,000 could literally benefit thousands of people and save lives, so I'm really pleased to team up with Last Night a DJ Saved My Life and launch 'Have a Drink on Us', which we hope will help some of the communities that need it most."

Jonny Lee, Founder of Last Night a DJ Saved My Life added: "We welcome such a motivated and socially responsible artist to join the growing ranks of our supporters, and act as an Ambassador for the 'Have A Drink on Us' water campaign. Eats Everything is a shining example to our dance music industry of how easy it is to make a real difference."

Our target is to raise £30,000 over the course of a year, which will include a very special fundraising event, taking place in the West Country this autumn.

Loopmasters, Nightmares on Wax, Melon Bomb and Brighton Music Conference have already pledged to support the campaign.
