Celtic Thunder Will Take the Beacon Theatre Stage

The Madison Square Garden Company and Metropolitan Entertainment announced today that Celtic Thunder will take the Beacon Theatre stage onSaturday, September 29, 2018. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 30 at 10:00AM.

The Celtic Thunder X tour celebrates the group's 10th Anniversary and its all-new CD/DVD, Celtic Thunder X, released March 2. The brand-new music and footage from Celtic Thunder X is also a public television special, filmed in Dublin, which is now airing nationwide.

During the Celtic Thunder X tour, singers Damian McGinty, Ryan Kelly, Michael O'Dwyer, Emmet Cahill & Neil Byrne will be backed by a full band to deliver new ensemble numbers including "Sons of Light", "Toora, Loora, Lay", "The Wild Rover", "Right all right", and "Castle on the Hill" followed in the second act by nostalgic fun songs like "Celebration", "I'm a Believer", "Seasons in the Sun" and "Rise Again" plus longtime crowd favorite "Ireland's Call."

Celtic Thunder have sold over 2.5 million albums in the US, toured the U.S. and Canada, coast to coast, 12 times, performing almost 1,000 shows to date, selling well over 1 million tickets. Celtic Thunder has been hailed as Billboard's"Top World Music Artist," along with "Top World Music Imprint" and "Top World Album" multiple times. The Celtic Thunder official YouTube channel, "Thunder Tube" has received over 100 million views since 2008. Celtic Thunder has appeared on multiple national TV programs including The Today Show, CBS Early Show Saturday, Fox & Friends, QVC, and numerous regional shows in major cities.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 10:00AM and will be available through Ticketmaster Charge By Phone (1-866-858-0008) and all Ticketmaster Outlets. Tickets will also be available in person on Saturday, March 31 at the Madison Square Garden, Beacon Theatre and Radio City Music Hall box offices.
