Blake Shelton to Perform 'My Eyes' on THE VOICE, 5/5

Coach Blake Shelton will perform the single "My Eyes" from his best-selling album "Based on a True Story ..." on the Monday, May 5 live telecast of NBC's Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice."

Shelton, a multiple Grammy Award nominee, will be joined by former "Voice" artists Gwen Sebastian, who was a member of Team Blake during the show's second season in 2012. Sebastian went on to tour with Shelton following her time on "The Voice."

Also on the May 5 show, upcoming season seven coaches Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani will sing their respective hit singles. Pharrell will perform "Come Get It Bae" from his new album, "Girl." Stefani will perform "Hollaback Girl" from her debut solo album, "Love. Angel. Music. Baby."

"My Eyes," which was written by Andrew Dorff, Tommy Lee James and Josh Osborne, is the fifth single from Shelton's "Based on a True Story ..." The previous singles - "Sure Be Cool If You Did," "Boys 'Round Here," "Mine Would Be You" and "Doin' What She Likes" - all reached No. 1.

"Based on a True Story ..." reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and was No. 3 on the Billboard Top Albums chart and Billboard 200 chart.

"The Voice" is a presentation of Mark Burnett's One Three Inc., Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Stijn Bakkers and Lee Metzger.
