At today's D23 expo, Broadway veteran Idina Menzel opened up about her role in Disney's upcoming animated feature FROZEN. Hear what she had to say about landing the coveted part of 'Elsa the Snow Queen' and more below!

FROZEN, based loosely on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen, is the 53rd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. The film features the voices of Kristen Bell as Anna, Menzel as Elsa the Snow Queen, and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, in speaking as well as singing roles.

In FROZEN, Anna teams up with a mountain man named Kristoff and his reindeer companion Sven to go on a quest to find Anna's sister Elsa, the Snow Queen, who has banished herself to the mountains into a snow palace, to put an end to the eternal winter she has accidentally cursed the Arendelle kingdom to suffer.

The film is set to hit theaters on November 27, 2013.
