According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tom Harper has signed on to direct a sequel to WOMAN IN BLACK. The film, to be titled 'Woman in Black: Angel of Death,' will be produced by the same team behind the original film, which featured Daniel Radcliffe in the lead role. "This will be a great opportunity for me to collaborate with a brilliantly talented team on the next installment in this exciting series," said Harper of the upcoming project.

The Woman in Black: Angel of Death will pick up the story four decades after the first film took place. According to the report, the film's description is "seized by the government during World War II, the sudden arrival of a group of evacuated children at Eel Marsh House awakens its darkest inhabitant."

The first installment of the series was directed by James Watkins and has become the highest grossing British horror film of the past 20 years, grossing more than $35 million in the U.K. and more than $130 million worldwide.
