Daniel Radcliffe will return to the big screen in another thriller -- this time undercover.

Deadline writes that the HARRY POTTER star will tackle the lead role in the upcoming FBI feature IMPERIUM, directed by Daniel Ragussis.

IMPERIUM is "based on the experiences of Michael German, an FBI undercover agent who spent years inside United States neo-Nazi and militia groups." Radcliffe will specifically portray "a young FBI agent who goes undercover to find and stop white supremacists trying to make a dirty bomb" in the film. Ragussis helms from a script he co-wrote with German.

Radcliffe was recently seen on the big screen in the supernatural thriller THE WOMAN IN BLACK, as well as KILL YOUR DARLINGS, HORNS, WHAT IF and TRAINWRECK. His upcoming projects include SWISS ARMY MAN, BROOKLYN BRIDGE, VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN, YOUNG AMERICANS and NOW YOU SEE ME: THE SECOND ACT, as well as the TV movie GAME CHANGER.

He rose to international fame starring as the title character in HARRY POTTER, the highest grossing film series of all time. The actor recently appeared on the Great White Way in THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN and Broadway's recent revival of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. Radcliffe also starred in EQUUS in 2008.
