Sigourney Weaver is set to reunite with Ridley Scott, the director who launched her career.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Weaver, who starred in Scott's 1979 classic ALIEN, has signed on for his next project, the Biblical epic EXODUS as Tuya, Ramses' mother.

Weaver joins previously announced Joel Edgerton, who will play Ramses, and Christian Bale, set to take on the role of Moses. The film was originally written by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage, with Steve Zaillian providing a rewrite.

EXODUS is currently slated to begin filming next month in England, Spain, and Morocco.
