Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg's Animated Film SAUSAGE PARTY Gets June 2016 Release

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffi's upcoming animated film SAUSAGE PARTY has received a June 3, 2016 release.

The film features the voices of Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Edward Norton, Michael Cera, Nick Kroll and David Krumholtz.

The film follows one sausage's journey to find the truth about his existence. After a fall from a shopping cart, the lead character sets off on a dangerous journey along with a new group of friends through the market in order to return to their proper shelves before the big Fourth of July sale.

The film, directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan, is set for a 2015 release for Sony Pictures and Annapurna Pictures. Rogen and Evan Goldberg penned the script with Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir.

Annapurna's Megan Ellison will produce with Rogen and Goldberg's Point Grey Pictures, as well as Vernon. Point Grey's James Weaver will executive produce with Hill, Hunter and Shaffir.
