BCDF Pictures announces today that they will begin filming Rhymes with Banana this March in New York's Hudson Valley. The film stars Paul Iacono (Fame, The Hard Times of RJ Berger), Zosia Mamet (The Kids Are All Right, Parenthood, Mad Men), Jee Young Han (The Art of Love, Meet Monica Velour), and Jaleel White (Dreamgirls, Family Matters), with supporting roles by Justine Cotsonas (Last Night, Five Minarets in New York) and Deborah Rush (Julie & Julia, You've Got Mail).

Rhymes with Banana is a satirical comedy written by Christina Mengert and Joseph Muszynski, the authors of Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding. It follows the lives of two struggling young actresses (Mamet and Han) who, after becoming convinced that their mysterious neighbor (Iacono) is a talent agent, take him hostage and demand acting careers as ransom.

The film will be directed by Mr. Muszynski and Peter Hutchings (co-writer of The Art of Love), and produced by Claude Dal Farra, Brice Dal Farra, Lauren Munsch, and Jonathan Burkhart.
