Josh Brolin Talks About Current Role and Dishes on BATMAN
Josh Brolin is an American actor who's starred in film such as True Grit and No Country for Old Men. His newest credit will be for Paul Thomas Anderson's newest film. The film is a loose adaptation of the novel Inherent Vice by Thomas Pynchon, which is about a pot-smoking detective. The film is set to hit theater's December 12th.
Brolin also turned down the role for the film Batman vs. Superman. After sitting down with the director, they both decided he wasn't the best fit for the role. Ben Affleck has been cast instead, a decision that has caused quite a negative stir among Batman fans.
Brolin stated, "People were so disrespectful. How can you blame an actor for acting? I understand you're a fan, but people forget that actors are human. When you're sitting in front of a computer it's easy to go, 'Well, I Wish he would die. Send.' But somebody's going to read that. Their kids are going to read it and the wife is going to read it. We're so computer-oriented that we forget."
