The Historic North Theatre in Danville, VIRGINIA will be showing "The Italian Job" movie on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 7:00 PM. This is the great action adventure film starring Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Donald Sutherland, Jason Statham, Edward Norton and featuring the famous Mini Coopers. The showing is free to the public and is being sponsored by Flow MINI of Raleigh and Winston-Salem.

Attendees will have a chance to meet Phil Wicks, veteran British racecar and stunt driver. Phil participated and instructed stunt driving in the original "Italian Job" movie. His other movie/television driving credits include "Grand Prix" and "The Avengers". He is in town to compete in the Gold Cup Classic Races at VIRGINIA International Raceway this weekend.

The theatre was closed for almost two years prior to Wayne Alan buying it in January of 2012. During that period the movie screen and digital projector were sold. Mr. Alan said, "I've had many people ask if we would ever show classic and/or independent films and I told them it was on my wish list. This event has made me willing to make the investment to purchase a new screen and digital projection system."
