Greg Green Films (www.greggreenfilms.com) announced today that Greg Green has been named to head up and teach its Youth Production 101 course starting in March. This Production class is part of the Idaho Children's Education Film & Television Foundation, which was formed to promote excellence in children's educational opportunities and to create awareness of the effects of visual entertainment on children. Greg Green is a director, producer, writer and editor with over thirty years of experience in television and film production.

"I am very proud to be associated with League 43, a new collective of filmmakers here in Idaho," Green stated. "The opportunity that League 43 has afforded me to be a part of this youth training program is energizing. These classes will enable young people to learn early on how to make a great film, whether it's a short commercial, a video or a feature. No matter what type of visual entertainment you are a part of, it is key to teach the importance of telling a story visually that supports your script. League 43 is embarking on a mission that I believe will have a positive impact on the quality of filmmaking in the near and distant future here in Idaho and education will be a key component in that improved quality. I'd like to thank Jesse Cordtz and his colleagues at League 43 for this amazing opportunity."

"League 43 is thrilled to have Greg Green teaching its first youth production class," League 43's Cordtz began. "We really believe that training future Idaho filmmakers is a top priority for the sustainability of the Idaho filmmaking community. League 43 was created to bring Idaho's best film and video production talent together and make them available to local, national and international film producers and make filmmaking in Idaho truly viable. League 43 currently is working on the VFX for a Hollywood independent feature film starring John Travolta entitled 'The Forger'. As we bring more and more work to Idaho, we really do need to know who is going to help us in the next 5 to 10 years. With teachers that can actually do what they teach like Greg can, we have great hopes for League 43's continued growth. Greg is an amazing talent and a real resource that we are so happy to have on our team. The class Greg will be teaching, Youth Production 101, will be running concurrent with our Intro to Screen Acting course taught by Jane Merrow, who is a fantastic acting teacher. The production class will cast and produce shorts from those enrolled in Jane's class. These productions will be supervised by Greg and we know that these students could not be in better hands."
