According to The Hollywood Reporter, GLEE's Grant Gustin is set to star in the upcoming Indie film AFFLUENZA. Kevin Asch will direct the project with a screenplay by Antonio Macia. The film is scheduled to begin production next week on location in NYC and Great Neck, N.Y.

AFFLUENZA is described as a modern-day take on The Great Gatsby. Gustin will portray Todd Goodman described as "a preppy alpha male jock who hails from a wealthy family. A turn of events during the financial crisis of 2008 forces him to face life in the real world."

Gustin is best known for his role as Warblers member Sebastian Smythe on the FOX musical drama. Next week he will appear on Oxygen's The Glee Project as a mentor for "Theatricality" week. He will soon be seen in the Lifetime original movie 'A Mother's Nightmare.'

Gustin was discovered by casting director and on-air mentor of "The Glee Project," Robert Ulrich, while he was performing in the first national tour of the Broadway revival of "West Side Story."
