Christian Filipella's SILVER CASE Comes to DVD and VOD, Beg. Today

Breaking Glass Pictures announces the nationwide release of Silver Case, starring Oscar nominee Eric Roberts, Claire Falconer, Brian Gamble, Chris Facey, Seymour Cassel, Shalim Ortiz and Vincent DePaul. The film will debut on broadcast VOD today, April 15th, followed by a May 7th DVD release. Silver Case is the debut feature of award-winning Italian director Christian Filipella.

The world of Hollywood scheming reaches a nasty low when a powerful producer (Roberts) hatches a plan to undermine the future success of his shady archrival. His plot begins with the delivery of a silver briefcase, which soon goes missing, setting off a chain of events. The Senator engages his best team to locate the package but doesn't count on the tenacity of two thugs who have the mysterious prize in their possession.

Shot in Los Angeles and Italy, Silver Case premiered at the Rome International Film Festival and went on to screen at a number of festivals including the Cannes Film Festival, Rome International Film Festival, San Diego Black Film Festival, and the Hoboken International Film Festival. The film took home several awards at the 2012 LA Indies Awards: Best Feature, Best Director, Best Lead Actor, and Best Supporting Actress. Additional awards include Best Director and the Jury Award for Best Feature at the Beverly Hills Film Festival.

The DVD release will include a behind the scenes featurette, a look into the style of Silver Case, and a tour of Paris Hilton's estate, used for shooting.
