Fox has announced that Critics' Choice Award Winner and SAG Nominee Jacob Tremblay will guest star as a Young Phil/Tandy (Will Forte) on an episode of THE LAST MAN ON EARTH this Spring on FOX.

An exact airdate for the episode has not been announced.

Tremblay stars opposite Brie Larson in the critically acclaimed and Academy Award-nominated film "Room," directed by Lenny Abrahamson and based on the international best-selling book by Emma Donoghue. For his role in the film, Tremblay has received a BREAKTHROUGH Performance Award from the National Board of Review and the Critics' Choice Best Young Actor Award, as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. Tremblay recently wrapped production on "The Book of Henry," with Naomi Watts, Sarah Silverman, Dean Norris and Jaeden Lieberher; "Burn Your Maps," opposite Vera Farmiga; and "Shut In."

From writer/producer Will Forte ("Nebraska," "Saturday Night Live") and directors/producers Chris Miller and Phil Lord ("The Lego Movie," "21 Jump Street"), THE LAST MAN ON EARTH is a comedy about the life and adventures of Phil Miller, an average guy who inadvertently became humanity's last hope. The series recently was nominated for four 2015 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Forte), Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series (Forte) and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series (Lord, Miller).
