Chicago's comedy powerhouse The Second City is opening up their vaults to celebrate 55 years of laughter!

The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts will welcome The Second City's 55th Anniversary Tour this weekend, October 10-11 to Vogel Hall as part of its Off Broadway series. Be there for this ultimate peek behind the curtain as the superstars of tomorrow present the legendary theatre's best of the best created by some of the biggest names in the business. It's the perfect fusion of Second City's hysterical history, the comically cutting-edge future and world-famous improv!

The Second City continues to deliver the funny while touring the globe. Many of comedy's biggest names have hit the road with The Second City Touring Company, including Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Amy Poehler, Steve Carell, Bill Murray, Jason Sudeikis, Key & Peele's Keegan-Michael Key and Saturday Night Live's current "Weekend Update" co-anchor, Cecily Strong.

Performances are October 10 and 11 at 8:00 pm. Tickets for The Second City's 55th Anniversary Tour are $38 and are subject to change.
