Disaster! producers Robert Ahrens and Hunter Arnold and Broadway Records President Van Dean today announced the release of "Never Can Say Goodbye," the first single from the forthcoming Original Broadway Cast Recording (out Friday, September 9, 2016), available for digital download on the label's website at BroadwayRecords.com. The classic 70's single is performed by 2016 Tony Award nominee Jennifer Simard of the critically-acclaimed new musical comedy.

The Disaster! Original Cast Recording is produced by Michael Croiter, Bart Migal and Seth Rudetsky, with executive producers Hunter Arnold, Robert Ahrens, Carl Daikeler, Sandi Moran and Daniel Rafinejad. The "Never Can Say Goodbye" digital download is $0.99 and the full album is available for pre-order at www.BroadwayRecords.com and on Amazon.

Set in the wildest decade ever, Disaster! delivered earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and unforgettable 70s hits like "Knock on Wood," "Hooked on a Feeling," "Sky High," "I Am Woman" and "Hot Stuff" - plus, and outrageous cast of Tony Award winning stars of Rent, Rock of Ages, Hairspray, Xanadu, Guys and Dolls and The Producers. Audiences and critics went wild for this hilarious homage to the era of bell-bottoms, platform shoes and the hustle. From the moment the glitter ball started spinning, there was dancing in the seats...and rolling in the aisles.

Directed by Jack Plotnick with a book by three-time Emmy Award nominee and Grammy Award nominee Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, Disaster! starred Tony Award winner and 2016 Outer Critics Circle Award nominee Roger Bart (You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown), Tony Award nominee Kerry Butler (Xanadu), three-time Tony Award nominee Kevin Chamberlin (The Addams Family), Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal (Rent), Tony Award winner Faith Prince (Guys & Dolls), Drama Desk Award winner Rachel York (Victor/Victoria), three-time Emmy Award nominee and Grammy Award nominee Seth Rudetsky (SiriusXM's "Seth's Big Fat Broadway"), 2016 Tony Award and Drama League Award nominee Jennifer Simard (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Max Crumm (Grease), 2016 Drama Desk Award nominee Baylee Littrell and Lacretta Nicole, and ensemble members Paul Castree, Casey Garvin, Travis Kent, Alyse Alan Louis, Maggie McDowell, Olivia Phillip, Catherine Ricafort and Brandon Rubendall.

Disaster! opened on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 and played its final Broadway performance at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41 Street) on Sunday, May 8, 2016.
