G. Garvin heads to Connecticut and starts his road trip at The Corner, a breakfast spot in Milford, CT that has all the locals buzzing. The restaurant serves up southern flavors, like the spiced duck tortilla and French toast stuffed with peaches and cream. The next stop is Mama's Boy Southern Table & Refuge in Norwalk, where they put their own fresh spin on traditional southern classics, including espresso-rubbed short-ribs. The final stop on his tour is Sandra's Next Generation in New Haven, where they are cooking up authentic Deep South staples right on the east coast!

On this road trip, G. Garvin sets off to find some of the best southern-inspired food the Empire State has to offer. First he heads to Harlem, where Chef Ayala Donchin serves up decadent desserts at Evelyn's Kitchen. Next up is Peaches in Brooklyn where southern hospitality is taken to a whole new level, serving mouthwatering dishes like black skillet chicken. G. wraps up his trip at the Rye Roadhouse for some authentic Cajun specialties, including the popular blackened alligator.

Debi and Gabriele are in Italy for olive harvest season and Gabriele is eager to share this time-honored tradition with his girls. But first, he gets the family fueled up with some of his Olive Oil Muffins. Gabriele gets the whole family involved to shake the olives from the trees and make fresh olive oil. With their olive oil in hand, Deb and Gab get started on some simple and delicious Tuscan dishes: first, Pasta e Fagioli, followed by Pollo al Mattone, a traditional chicken dish on the fire and, finally, Fire-Roasted Chestnuts. It is the perfect harvest feast!

Gabriele's Nonna has turned 90 and he wants to celebrate! Debi and Gabriele head to the local pastry shop to learn how to make the Torte Della Nonna, a mouthwatering local specialty. Before the family arrives, Debi and Gabriele make a Chicken Liver Crostini appetizer and then get started on the birthday feast with Wood Oven Spit-Roasted Guinea Fowl, and Treviso e Fagioli. Gabriele has always wanted to visit Colonnata to experience the unique and unbelievably tasty Colonnata lardo - a delicacy that both he and Debi adore. To get ready for the trip, they make a delicious Tuscan Kale and Lardo Crostini. Once there, they meet with the master lardo Makers to see what goes into the 6 month to 2 year process to make one of the world's most delicious luxuries. And of course, they cannot leave without trying the world's best lardo, before heading back to their kitchen to make Coniglio Fritto and Tortiera di Carciofi.

What is more romantic than Italian wine country? Debi and Gabriele are taking the afternoon to explore the Chianti region, and pick up the ingredients for a fabulous dinner. Before they head out, they make a quick Panino Chianti Giano, and end their romantic afternoon at the breathtaking Fattoria di Montecchio, one of the most beautiful wineries in Tuscany. Back in their kitchen, Debi and Gabriele keep the romance going with Ragu di Cianghiale, which they make with a sweet ending of Ricotta Cheesecake. Romance is always in the air in wine country.

When symptoms of Matt's disease begin to resurface, his doctor urges him to undergo chemotherapy, despite the effects it will have on him during finals week. After their blowout fight, Kim tries to convince Steve to go along with her plan to take on a new school with higher tuition. And Gabriel hopes his recent efforts in restaurant class will be enough to ace the final exam and pass the class.

Yusi and Sophie had made a huge profit selling a couple of their family's restaurants and they bought Rosey's with the hope that it would be a huge success. What were they thinking? Located in an industrial wasteland, this diner looks like it hasn't had a customer in years. With their family's financial freedom on the line, Yusi and Sophie need Restaurant Takeover to bring in much-needed business. Chef Andrea Nicholson and designer Montana Burnett are on the case.

When Kaylea opened Fresh Sandwich Shop, she thought her dream of being a chef was finally coming true. Unfortunately, her business plan had serious flaws. Restaurant Takeover's chef Adam Hynam-Smith and designer Amanda Campbell need to bring Kaylea's vision to life so that she can attract the business she needs to keep the restaurant alive and reignite her passion.

At what point does trying to keep up with the times come across as trying too hard? With a cartoon mural and tablecloths fit for a picnic, Lucy's Seafood has "family friendly" written all over it. But owner Len sees the young professionals frequenting the big box restaurants in the area and he's convinced he needs to overhaul his entire restaurant to draw in the same sexy, sophisticated crowd. Will Restaurant Takeover chef Andrea Nicholson and designer Cherie Stinson help Len stand out from the competition?

When Sam bought Classico, it was a busy restaurant and he thought this would be a turn-key operation, but this used-and-abused Italian joint is completely missing the mark. Passionate about the industry but stressed out beyond belief, Sam makes a plea for his lifestyle: he needs Restaurant Takeover's Chef Andrea Nicholson and designer Montana Burnett to help to make Classico a success so he can have the work-life balance he's always wanted.
