Cooking Channel Announces June 2016 Highlights

Cooking Channel is on the road this June, traveling across the country and around the world in quest of the most delicious and unique food out there, starting with all-new series BEACH BITES WITH KATIE LEE premiering Thursday, June 2nd at 10pmET/7pmPT. Traveling from shore to shore, host Katie Lee will sample the best beach treats the coasts have to offer, making new friends and memorable experiences along the way.

Next up, it's grilling season and Brooklyn chef and barbeque expert Shannon Ambrosio is putting his skills to the test by leaving his city digs behind to go DOWN SOUTH to see if he's really got what it takes to call himself a pitmaster in the all-new series Big Bad BBQ Brawl on Tuesday, June 7th at 10pmET/7pmPT. The travels continue with Donal Skehan Sundays at 9:30amET/6:30amPT in Follow Donal to Europe visiting coveted European destinations such as Istria, Croatia and San Sebastian, Spain.

Then, THE HUNT for the perfect cake is on with series CAKE HUNTERS Wednesdays at 10pmET/7pmPT and Noah Cappe scours the country for more of the freakiest fairground finds on CARNIVAL EATS Thursdays at 9pmET/6pmPT. Katie Lee searches high and low tide to find new and inventive ways that meals are prepared around the world. Brooklyn pitmaster Shannon Ambrosio heads down to the coastal city of Charleston, South Carolina, to challenge local barbecue favorites, Right on Que, to a South Carolina-style BBQ meat on the bone and potato competition! Right on Que is famous in Charleston for their pork, so if Shannon wants to "cue" up a win with the judges, he's going to need to get some inspiration from the local flavors.
