Pine's performance is part of Mesa Arts Center's Classical Music Inside Out series, which is curated by world renowned cellist Zuill Bailey. The series enables participants to hear great works of music interpreted by master musicians who are also able to share their passion for the music and informal insights, and significantly deepen the listening experience. The intimate and non-traditional performances illuminate outstanding works of classical music, the artistic process and the musician's journey of exploring and inhabiting the vessels provided by the composer.

Pine has appeared as a soloist with many of the world's most prestigious orchestras, including the Chicago, Atlanta, St. Louis, Dallas, Baltimore, Montreal, Vienna, New Zealand and Iceland Symphonies, and the Philadelphia Orchestra. She has also performed with Germany's GÖttinger Symphonie Orchester, France's Orchestre de Bertagne, the Sacramento and New Mexico Philharmonics and City Music Cleveland.

Rachel Barton Pine has been featured on many television shows including CBS News Sunday Morning, NBC's Today and From the Top. Pine is also committed to encouraging the next generation to experience the arts; The Rachel Elizabeth Barton Foundation assists young artists through various projects. She is also a Life Trustee of the Music Institute of Chicago.

As part of the Classical Music Inside Out series and through Mesa Arts Center's outreach programs, cellist Zuill Bailey and Pine will be conducting master classes at Valley schools, giving lecture demonstrations for community organizations and providing pop-up performances in the Mesa area.

Mesa Arts Center is located at One East Main Street in downtown Mesa.
