The Cleveland POPS Orchestra traditional patriotic concert features the 122nd Army Band of the Ohio National Guard. Cleveland POPS Chorus lends its impressive collective voice to Cleveland's most cherished tribute to our heroes, along with the Mutual Gifts Gospel Choir. Military-inspired, patriotic music and sing-alongs. Hear the marvelous 2013 co-winner of the Jean L. Petitt Memorial Music Scholarship and Todd Meany, vocalist (Fox8 News).

Music selections will include Song of Democracy (Howard Hanson) with Chorus, Poem by Walt Whitman, Orange Blossom Special (Ervin T. Rouse), Themes from "Schindler's List) (John Williams), Band of Brothers (Michael Kamen), Theme Songs of all Military Branches, with Chorus, Patriotic Audience Sing-along, audience and chorus, Taps ("Scott Tattoo" - arr. Union Brigadier General, Daniel Butterfield (full band arrangement), God Bless the U.S.A. (Todd Meany, vocalist), andAmerican Fanfare.

About the Cleveland POPS Orchestra

The Cleveland POPS Orchestra has been entertaining audiences throughout greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio for 19 years. They are renowned for their exciting and innovative blend of popular music, standards, Broadway, show tunes, movie scores, swing and jazz performances. Each year they perform a five concert subscription series, a holiday concert and a special New Years Eve show. The Cleveland POPS is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization funded in part by grants from Ohio Arts Council and the residents of Cuyahoga County through Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
