South Shore Symphony Features Guest Conductor David Bernard and Soprano Tamra D'Ann Paselk, 11/23

The South Shore Symphony Orchestra will be featuring guest conductor David Bernard and American Soprano Tamra D'Ann Paselk in its Fall concert at the Malloy College's Madison Theatre in Rockville Centre on Saturday November 23rd at 8 pm. The program will feature some of the most beautiful and best known romantic music, including Dvorak's brilliant Symphony No. 8, Selections from Bizet's alluring Opera "Carmen" and Tchaikovsky's passionate and riveting "Romeo and Juliet". "I am looking forward to collaborating with the South Shore Symphony and Tamra Paselk on this fantastic program," says guest conductor David Bernard. Tamra D'Ann Paselk, Soprano, has entertained audiences across the world as an operatic soprano with her unique interpretations of both newly developed and classic characters. She was most recently praised by the New York Concert Review for delivering a "consistently evocative, engrossing account of Britten's Les Illuminations" in her performance with the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony. Equally at home on the operetta/theater stages, Ms. Paselk has been featured with Gilbert& Sullivan groups in both San Francisco and New York in addition to frequenting the works of Offenbach and, more recently, her own cabaret show.
