Soulful Symphony, under the direction of Darin Atwater and in association with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, will present a free concert for Protest, Hope, Healing and Common Ground as part of the #OneBaltimore initiative on May 10 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

As a peaceful, musical response to the death of Freddie Gray and recent civil unrest, the program will include a mix of spirituals, gospel hymns and protest songs. In announcing the performance, Soulful Symphony founder and artistic director Darin Atwater said, "There are moments in history that call forth the gifts that we have been given. This is that moment!" #OneBaltimore is an initiative led by many civic and faith leaders to heal and unite the community members of Baltimore in the wake of conflict.

Note: Tickets for the concert are sold out, but media tickets can be requested by emailing tickets@bsomusic.org
