On February 7, local music students from the Sarasota Orchestra's Youth Program will have the opportunity to perform at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall with one of the hottest groups to spring forth from the talent quarry of YouTube, The Piano Guys.

Blending incredible cinematography and sound engineering with neo-classical renditions of pop music and classic rock hits, The Piano Guys have amassed a following of over 3.5 million subscribers with a view count of 576 million and counting. They will be supported during one of their songs by students from the Sarasota Youth Orchestras, giving the students a unique opportunity to work with a group of artists who are on the cutting edge of modern musical performance and music business strategy.

Performing with The Piano Guys will be: Thomas Allen, Beatriz Coelho, Allison Daniel, Camden Jenkins, Lily Potter, Luca Stine, Trisha Tran, and Andrew Zhang.

"We love being able to provide opportunities to our area students to interact and perform with world class artists. We are thrilled to have students from the Sarasota Youth Orchestras represent the talent and passion of our young people on the Van Wezel stage," says Kelli Maldonado, Director of Education and Community Engagement at the Van Wezel.

Tickets are $47.80-$74.55 and are available at VanWezel.org, the Box Office, or by calling 941-953-3368.
