Today, in celebration of San Francisco Pride, San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus (SFGMC) announced the program for the final concert of the 2014/15 season, Elton: The Sing-Along on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 3 p.m. & 8 p.m. at Nourse Theater (275 Hayes Street, San Francisco). Guest artist Breanna Sinclaire?, the first transgender singer to earn the Master of Vocal Performance degree from the prestigious San Francisco Conservatory of Music, joins the Chorus for Elton: The Sing-Along.

Starring the 275 men of the Chorus, Elton: The Sing-Along features the best of Sir Elton John. From the worlds of pop music, film, glam rock, and Broadway, these roof-raising concerts will cover every facet of Sir Elton's career, incorporating his most memorable melodies with no shortage of rhinestones and feathers.
"Every single person on the planet has at least one vivid memory in their life that is tied to an Elton John song," writes San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus Artistic Director Dr. Timothy Seelig. "For many of us, his music has serenaded life's big events for decades. We plan to provide the music for all those memories to come flooding back!"

Elton: The Sing-Along will also offer breathtaking moments featuring the glorious sound for which San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus is famous. Several of those highlights are the iconic and beloved "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" and "Circle of Life." In addition, two lesser-known, yet poignant, pieces will be brought to the stage: "American Triangle," written in memory of Matthew Shepard following his 1998 murder, and "The Last Song," the first song composed to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation, and was used at the end of the 1998 film "And The Band Played On."

Audience members are invited to sing along during the concerts. "Don't worry if you only sing Elton John songs in the shower or car," Seelig writes. "You'll be singing along with 275 handsome men and a full band this time around!"

Tickets for Elton: The Sing-Along range in price from $20 - 60 and are available now by visiting www.SFGMC.org or by calling City Box Office at (415) 392-4400.
