Pianist Inon Barnatan to Perform with Atlanta Symphony, Begin. 1/22

Lauded pianist Inon Barnatan, who was recently named the New York Philharmonic's first Artist-in-Association, returns to Atlanta Symphony Hall January 22, 8:00 p.m., January 24, 7:30 p.m. and January 25, 2:00 p.m. to perform Mozart's renowned Piano Concerto No. 24 - among his darkest and most famed works. Mr. Barnatan wowed audiences during the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's (ASO) 2012-13 season when he stepped in as a last-minute substitute for a performer who had fallen ill.

Guest Conductor Matthias Pintscher will also make a return to Symphony Hall, leading the ASO in Wagner's Siegfried Idyll and Beethoven's Symphony No. 4 as well as Mr. Barnatan's performances of Mozart. In addition to his conducting responsibilities as the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra's Artist-in-Association and as a guest conductor, he is also a praised composer who has written works for the world's leading orchestras.
