Hershey Symphony Orchestra Celebrates Season with Holiday Concert, Today

Join the 80-piece Hershey Symphony Orchestra as it kicks off the season with its annual holiday concert, Friday, December 6, 2013 at 8 p.m. at The Hershey Theatre.

The annual holiday spectacular is a seasonal tradition for many and will feature familiar songs, an audience sing-a-long and a visit from Santa Claus.

The concert will also showcase the talents of the Symphony's 2013 Young Artist Competition winner, Cellist Lilly WuShanley. Music selections include The Halleluiah Chorus, Sleigh Ride, Festival Sounds of Hanukkah and Stille Nacht by Chip Davis.

The Hershey Symphony Orchestra is comprised of more than 80 accomplished local musicians and strives to engage the community through artistic excellence and live performances of great music. Established in 1969 as a chamber ensemble by a group of musicians at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, the Hershey Symphony has grown to be one of the largest volunteer orchestras in the nation.
