Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra Appoints New Board President, Members

The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce its new Board members, Sarah Baumgartner, Cristian Dersidan, and Tejal Patel. The Board's newly elected President is Ann T. Hollenbeck attorney with Honigman. Rick D. Hendricks, CPA with Rehmann was elected First Vice President; Steven C. Pierce of Pierce Financial elected Secretary; and Richard D. Hendricks, Treasurer. Bob Gates of Domino's Pizza is the Immediate Past President.

Sarah Baumgartner is an associate in the Real Estate Department with Honigman with a focus on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales financing and leasing matters. She received her M.P.P and J.D. from the University of Michigan. She returns to Detroit after working at Latham & Watkins LLP, in New York, New York.

Cristian Dersidan is VP-International Finance, Strategy & Insights and Administration at Domino's Pizza. Before joining Domino's he was formerly with HSBC Finance Corporation and JP Morgan Chase in Chicago. He received his degree from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and an executive MBA from the Wharton Business School and a Business Administration. Tejal Patel is a sophomore at Skyline High School. She is active in her community participating in Peace Neighborhood and Safety Town. Her passion is to bring high school students and children together to teach music at no cost to the students. "Music has brought me much joy and I find it very calming, and I would love to spread this joy and happiness with others!"

Ann T. Hollenbeck is Partner Leader, Health Care Practice Group for Honigman. She joined Honigman in 2001 and she previously served as Assistant General Counsel for the University of Michigan Health System. Ann received her B.S. at Butler University and her J.D. at Indiana University School of Law. Ann was elected President by unanimous vote at the June 2015 Annual Meeting.

Re-elected for another term were Jim Froehlich, Larry Henkel, Larry Jordan, Sally Rudisill, and Jane Wilkinson.

Vice Presidents elected at the Annual Meeting include Roderick Little, Artistic; William Maxbauer, Development; Joan K. Singer, Education & Outreach; Paloma A. Jalife and Jane Wilkinson, Marketing; Martha Darling, Policy; Lesa Huget, and Special Events.
