Storyline: The year is 1973, and the small college town is Gainesville, Fla. Reagan Davis is an incoming freshman with rugged good looks, a somewhat shy personality and a girl-crazy agenda. Conservative, loving parents with strong political beliefs have raised Reagan to work hard and to stay out of trouble.
The freedom of being away from home, however, is overwhelming, and Reagan finds himself walking a fine line between his parents' mandates and his individual desires. While settling into college life and trying to come to terms with his personal priorities, he strives to strike a balance. This is a balance that will prove essential as he watches those around him suffer the harsh consequences of living life on the edge.
About the author: William P. Bahlke is a 59-year-old semi-retired civil engineer finally pursuing his lifelong passion for writing novels. Bahlke and his wife, Meda, divide their time between the mountains of North Carolina, New York City and Key West, Fla. Bahlke is a graduate of the University of Florida and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.
