VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ Storypanda Digital Publishing announced today that they have entered into an agreement with Big Idea Entertainment, a subsidiary of DreamWorks Animation to bring the entire Veggiecational book catalogue of the popular children's series 'VeggieTales' to the iPad using Storypanda's unique interactive storytelling delivery system.Children have been learning with Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato for decades and this alliance provides today's tech savvy kids the same opportunity. The collection includes five educational titles, covering the subjects of the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes and telling time, all within a simple to use VeggieTales bookshelf app. The first three books in the series released on the iPad by Storypanda are VeggieTales: Boband Larry's ABC's, Junior's Colors and How Many Veggies?

The Storypanda team has adapted the VeggieTales series to allow kids to change elements of the books as they read, create and share each story. They can swap in different fonts, colors, characters, and props to create new and engaging stories that enrich the learning process.

The agreement is the second large scale publishing collaboration Storypanda has entered into in recent weeks. They recently announced an agreement with Peanuts Worldwide LLC to produce a series of titles within their proprietary story delivery system. Additional past publishing partners have included Anorak, Sleeping Bear Press, Hachette and over 100 independent authors and illustrators.
